A House of Glory

The glory of God is all around us! This white temple is reflecting the glory of the sunrise's colors.

I painted this from a photo my husband Greg took. These were the colors reflected on the temple. God is the Supreme artist! Did you know that all shadow is the direct complimentary color of the light? Did you also know that in light all analogous color to the light is heightened, while the complimentary colors to the light are neutralized? It is amazing what we learn when we study what God does in nature.

Ummmmm...I seriously have no clue what the heck you're talking about, Mom, but it IS a beautiful picture! Do I get a copy? :) Dad did a good job...and you're right--God is the greatest artist! :)

Oh, sorry! Color theory is so amazing that I get carried away with the things that I notice. What I think is weird is how the pictures get so distorted when I try to photgraph them! This painting doesn't look so warped!

I think it looks a little 'Tim Burton'-ish! :) Of course, Tim Burton would never make anything as light...
